Who has files open on the Server 2008 computer?

So, ever want to reboot your Server 2008 machine and wonder if everyone has saved all their files and logged out?  Here’s how you can check

  • At the Server 2008 console, open Server Manager
  • Go to Roles, File Services, Share and Storage Management
  • Click on Manage Open Sessions or Manage Open files to see who might still have files or sessions open.
